ABOUT

I provide services in most things audio, including but not limited to: music production, tracking, mixing, live sound, technical work, and repair. My objective is to capture the creative spirit of my clients' work in the truest form possible, in order to provide the highest quality final product while maintaining the unique edge that makes each artist so special.

I have always had a fascination with creation. By following my passions I've learned to build, solder, carve, craft and create just about anything within my realm of interest. This includes audio gear like mics, mic preamps, compressors, guitar pedals, drums, synths, odd circuit bent noise makers and more. I am very hands on. I love getting down and dirty with the gear I'm using, modifying it, and using it in unique and unintended ways.

I hold a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Sound Arts from Expression College of Digital Arts. After my education, I spent years employed by Avid (formerly Digidesign) as a Pro Tools tester. I also have experience working in standard recording studios, including an internship at San Francisco's Different Fur Studios. Continuing my technical expertise, I build and repair custom gear for myself and my clients. Not to mention nearly 15 years drumming in punk, hardcore, rock, math rock and experimental bands. Currently, I work as a freelance Engineer, mostly out of San Francisco based Mission Recorders and my own home based mix studio.

Please feel free to contact me to talk about your project.
