The Bug Crusher is a sample rate reduction pedal I built using a schematic provided by Bug Brand. I slightly modded it to add a clean blend knob of the side of mine. The pedal digitally samples the incoming signal and lets you control the sample rate with a control knob. This allows for various lo-fi effects from AM Radio like chimey tones, to murky digital noise. This effect can sound really cool on guitar, synths, drums and even vocals.
